A League History

The Lakeshore Fantasy Football League originated in 2006 as a rookie league. It was actually called the "Sheboygan Rookie League," and six of the original players had limited experience with fantasy football. After most of the players continued to return year after year, gaining experience and skill, the "Rookie" label no longer fit. At the time, because all players lived near the shores of Lake Michigan--Chicago, Milwaukee, Sheboygan--the league took the name "Lakeshore."
